To say I’ve been waiting for this record to drop for a while would be the understatement of the year.
Mark Moore aka S’Express has returned to prove that electro will save us all.
Simply worth buying for the sleeve alone never mind the ‘off the chart’ smart track, Stupid little girls for me is one of those tunes that only comes along once, maybe twice a year if you’re lucky.
I like my ‘tro slutty, progressive, glitchy and infectious like ebola. Many try to satisfy, few fullfill. In that respect Stupid Little Girls is the Mr Muscle in a sea of Cillit Bangs; it penetrates deep and reaches the places in the back of the brain other just don’t touch. Think Shiny Toy Guns – Le Disko cross bred with Orbital at their banging best and you get an inkling.
I’m not posting the title track as you all need to go out and buy it HERE or on I-TUNES this week to help its chart position, but to give you some indication you can listen to the JBag RMX off the Kitsune Boombox from last year.
